Taj and Sarah - Senior Sisters in Urgent Need of Warm, Safe Home for sale in Chattanooga, Tennessee

$50

Sarah is a beautiful dilute calico, Taj a gorgeous tortoiseshell. Due to recent serious health trouble, my aunt is no longer able to keep her two cats. This is heartbreaking for her as she's had them since birth, so our only concern is that they go to a loving home. We would really love if they could go together, but if they have to be separated to find the right homes we understand- we just want them to be loved. I can also bring you what food she has for them as well as their litter box.
There is a $35 adoption fee for each or if someone is kind enough to keep them together the fee will be reduced to $50 for both. The adoption fee will be donated to the PPAW Spay Neuter Clinic.
These girls are spayed, up to date on their shots, and they are both litter trained AND are used to going
to the door to ask out- they've been combination indoor/outdoor cats their whole lives. They are 12,
born in August of 2001, and they are healthy babies. Sarah's only health problem has been a fever
blister like swelling on her upper lips on rare occasions that we think could be caused by an allergy to
birds (Sarah is a little hunter and will be happy to bring you presents from time to time if you let her
outside, lol). Each time this has happened the lip was easily treated with steroids.
They are used to living in a home with a small dog (a terrier mix) which Sarah loves and Taj avoids, so
they would definitely be ok living with other cats or small dogs. They've never been exposed to a large
dog so I'm not sure of how they would respond, but if the dog was respectful of their space I believe they would do just fine. The girls can be shy kitties, Taj more than Sarah, but they are very sweet and
never aggressive. Once they know you Taj usually prefers to lie nearby on a bed where she can watch
over you, while Sarah will want to be on your lap helping you read a book or watch TV.
These are wonderful cats; I've known them since they were 4 days old and I love them dearly. We need
to find a good home for them as soon as possible because it's getting cold outside and as my aunt's
been hospitalized, they are outdoors right now and won't have a home to go into until we find a place
for them. Please consider opening your heart to these babies; they have spent their whole lives being
loved and they are very much in need of a place where they can continue to be part of someone's family.
The girls are in Chattanooga so if you are near there and would like to go visit them I can easily call my
mom and my aunt and arrange a meeting. I'm up in Knoxville and would be happy to transport the
kitties here or anywhere along the way in between if you live in any of those places and are interested in adopting.
If you are interested in the girls please call or text Jennifer at . Thank you so much for taking the time to read about these babies.
