Whitney is a beautiful Wirehaired Terrier mix. She is about a million times more adorable than she appears in her photos. Her personality is full of love and spirit. She forms close bonds quickly with people who are gentle and kind with her. Everything about her is bouncy, spunky, gentle and affectionate.
Whitney was born April 2012 and was rescued from Catoosa County Animal Control. She is still trying to figure out the whole shelter situation ? she is constantly looking for someone who will belong to her. Like all dogs, she wants is a lap that is hers and a dependable person to spend time with her.
We have a bit of a soft spot for Wirehaired Terrier mixes that has been earned by great experiences with dogs like Whitney. These mixes tend to be very intelligent and intuitive with other dogs and with people. They are kind dogs ? we sometimes refer to them as mediators because they possess a special type of presence that seems to diffuse negative energy. Whitney is still a puppy and can be worked with to develop an incredible relationship with her family.
We're open Wed - Sat 10 am - 5 pm & Sundays 12 - 5pm.
The adoption fee is $125 which includes a free veterinary exam within 2 weeks of adoption, up to date vaccinations, test for heartworms & heartworm medication (for dogs), FELV/FIV test (for cats), deworming, flea treatment, microchip, & spay or neuter.
